Savannah, Georgia

Updated: Sep 8, 2021

Savannah is full of fun and history. Years ago a friend lived there, so we went ever weekend. We have also gone to weddings there and taken my son a few times.

Where to stay?

You can rent a house or there are lots of hotels to stay at. We have done both. We have stayed at the Westin across the river when my son was small and we loved it there. They have a pool, splash pad and a boat you can take over to River Street. My son loved watching the big boats go by us in the river.

We also stayed at the Hotel Indigo at Ellis Square as a couple and was great to walk around.

Getting around:

You can get around by walking, car, take a horse and carriage ride or use the Old Town Trolly Hop on and Off.
