Lighting of Avalon ( November 21, 2021)

Avalon really goes all out for their tree lighting!!


Make sure to get there early as parking gets full quickly and make sure to dress for the weather! It does get crowded, so be prepared.


There are restrooms located to the right of the Regal Cinema with the playground area.


Go early, have lunch and shop while you wait for the festivities to begin.

A celebration for the season you won't want to miss! Get in the holiday spirit with festive music and free activities for the whole family.


From the annual opening of Avalon on Ice to the magnificent tree lighting, and an appearance from Jolly Old Saint Nick himself, there's something exciting for all to enjoy.

Schedule of Events: 1PM to 4PM: Activity Row Take the family for a stroll along Avalon Boulevard for face painting, balloon art, photo booth fun, and more!

1PM to 9PM: Avalon On Ice Avalon on Ice kicks off with a magical ice skating performance at 1PM and the rink officially opens to the public at 2PM.

1PM to 5PM: DJ & Holiday Performances Starting at 1PM, enjoy a live DJ spinning holiday hits as well as seasonal performances from local entertainment throughout the day.

5PM to 6PM: Family Fun with North Point Community Church North Point Community Church takes the main stage at 5PM to get you in the holiday spirit!

6:30 to 8PM: Bogey and the Viceroy Bogey and the Viceroy is BACK with another spectacular holiday performance you won't want to miss!

7PM: Tree Lights Help Santa countdown to the lighting of our magnificent 40-foot tree to kick off the perfect holiday at Avalon! Parking Information: Guests may park in any of our free parking decks, valet at 3rd Street, or park across the street at Gwinnett Technical College where we will have shuttles running to our property. Because parking will fill up quickly, we recommend carpooling or using a ride-share service to ensure a smooth arrival and departure.
