Growing up, we had many German traditions in our house since my mom and dad met in Germany. We love it so much my brother has gone to the holiday markets in Germany for 29 years in a row!
Atlanta has their own version and it always transports me to the markets in Germany.
They have a new location this year in the Buckhead Village, 290 East Paces Ferry Road NE / Peachtree Road NE, Atlanta, GA 30305, until January 2, 2022.
Mondays to Thursdays 11:30am to 9:30pm (21:30 hrs)
Fridays & Saturdays 11:30am to 10:30pm (22:30 hrs)
Sundays: 11:30am to 9:30pm (21:30 hrs)
Parking -we were lucky and found a spot right on the street adn used the app to pay for parking. Click the link for the offical info on parking.
They have tons of food stalls here!
They are pet friendly
Make sure you get a Chimney Cake! I love the one with strawberries and whip cream!
The famous Kathe Wohlfhart store is here again. If you are unfamiliar with Kathe Wohlfhart, it is one of the main stores in Germany who makes gourgous ornaments!
Don't forget to visit the big man himself! Santa will be with us every Saturday and Sunday of the Market, except for Christmas Day. He is right when you walk in from the Paces Ferry entrance.
The restroom/port a potty are located behind Santas house.
Pictures will be just $10 each, and that gets you both a printed Polaroid and a picture using your mobile device! You will NOT receive or need an appointment time.
