We wanted to get out of the house so we took the over an hour drive to Juliette, GA to see the Whistle Stop Cafe from the Movie Fired Green Tomatoes.

You basically drive on 75 to the exit and it was like 10 mins form the highway.
There is a gas station right before it if you need gas.
The local fire station has public restrooms.
This area is one street of old buildings and a few have shops.
We went after covid started and were not eating insides places. We called when we got off the highway and placed our order over the phone so it was ready when we got there.
I went in to get our food and paid. They do not take American Express.
We then took our food outside and ate at the picnic tables out back and was lucky to have a train pass as we ate.
Be sure you check out back to see where they bbq in the movie, home of Smokey Lonesome and look at the cement square on the ground near the bbq.
I am not a food critic, but the deserts were amazing!!!!
You have to get the fried green tomatoes of course!
