Six Flags over Georgia

If you are like me, your child has one of those free Six Flags tickets from reading from their school. For 2020 they will honor them in 2021.

You must now reserve a spot to go so they can keep track of how many are coming.

They only take cards or mobile payments, no cash!

You can purchase tickets here.

The last time we went they were having a Coke July 4th special if you brought a coke you got in an hour early.

I encourage you to check fb, Publix, Coca-Cola cans or their website for specials when you go.

Parking at the park is $25 and farther away. The one thing I do not like about Six Flags is you can not bring your own food or drinks. Some let you bring water and some wont so depends who checks you.

You can buy parking and the Flash pass here

You do have to go through a metal detector and they search your bags. Once in grab a map and have fun. The map we got, which was for the July 4th week did not label many rides and we did find it hard to navigate. I have a bad back and hips from a car accident and they have slight hills all over the park and they do bother them. Pushing a wheel chair would not be fun and this is not for my mom who walks with a cane.

They are many roller coasters but most of the big ones seem to be 54 inches or higher. They do have an area for younger kids, the sky cars and they had a foam party when we were there.

They do have meal plans, unlimited drink cups that you can purchase on the web or there. You would have to compare what you think your family drinks soda wise and eat. They are to have free cups of water at each place, but we found none had them.

Some rides you can not take bags on so you can rent a locker for $1 or the whole day for $5. I bought a fanny pack for our next time we go.

There is a water park in the back of the park Hurricane Harbor. it is free with your Six Flags admission. They have lifeguards there and life vests, but they are first come. They have a changing area in here too. Bring water shoes and I suggest a water bag to carry our phone and money. There are seats around there to watch your little ones.

I highly recommend a cell phone pouch if you do the water park or a water ride. You can still use your phone while in it but it keeps it dry and you can also stick money and charge cards in it. It also makes your phone float if you ever dropped it in water.

Make sure you wear sunscreen all day. There is very little shade in the whole park.

They do sell a Flash Pass which is like a fast pass for an extra fee.

They now have free wifi in the park and you can download the app before to use to:

  • Mobile Food Ordering with less wait and no contact

  • Navigate the park with our interactive maps*

  • Purchase tickets, parking, meal deals and more

  • Plan your meals with restaurant menus

  • Check park operating hours

  • Find upcoming special events

  • Learn about all of our rides, restaurants and shops

  • Connect with your company or group outing
