Santa is back to normal at Avalon this year and inside his house, so I am writing this as it was during our 2019 and before visits. Check in on the right of the house when you get there with his elf. You can also walk up and see if they have any openings. In 2019 you got to make a cookie after.
You will get an email to fill out about info on your child. Once you arrive at the Santa house next to Oak Steakhouse Atlanta and Colletta you check on at the window with the elf and give them the paper.
We parked at the meters right in front of Colletta, You can pay via the Reef parking app. The valet is still there too. There is also a valet right there.
You are given a business card and told your pictures will be emailed to you in 24 hour. Take a picture of it encase you lose the card.
One year with a bunch of friends we didStory time with Santa! and it was so much fun! This way it was just our group in the house. He read a story to them and we got to take pictures.
They are booked for this year, but will take walk ins!

Elevate your Santa experience with RFID technology:
RFID is an enabling technology that helps Avalon seamlessly deliver personalized experiences. Parents can go online to register their children for the Santa experience and pick up an "I Am Santa's Gift" tag. The registration form includes questions about the child’s name, age, Christmas wishes and even an option to enter requests such as: clean their room, stop fighting with siblings, etc. When the child approaches with the tag, Santa’s iPad – hidden inside his Naughty or Nice book – populates with the child’s registration form, allowing for a magical conversation between Santa and the child.
Registration for the RFID Experience can be done at Santa's house or online prior to your appointment
Bass Pro Shop (Lawrencville)
This is from a picture from last year, but it says contactless again this year on their website. Your child will sit on a green bench below Santa. They have a big black curtain surrounding the whole Santa area, and only one family at a time. They will take your temperature too! There is a plexi glass separating you and Santa. (Thank you to Kayla Donarski for the info and pic)

Jeff Roffman Photography
Worried your child may scream and be scared and ruin the family Christmas card? Well worry no more, with Jeff, its the in thing! Here is about our visit last year and tips from friends who went this year. Sadly we had to cancel our session this year as my husband had covid.
He usually sends an email to past customers in Janaury to book, then opens to the public. Make sure to get on his email list.

IYou can have Santa wear a mask if you ask to, and ths year only kids will get their pictures.
If you were luckily enough to score a spot for Jeff Roffman Photography Santa pics, here is the low down.
Follow the directions from his email for parking.
When you walk in the building, you go down a long hall. Then you walk into Santa's workshop. It truly is a very magical place to be! I mean they even give free mimosas for parents! Jeff has really thought of everything! As a kindergarten teacher, I think I had as much fun there as my son! I believe they will take everyone temperatures here.
This year they have limited the number of families in at one time.
I would take the kids around and show them the magic every where. I mean he even has a wrapping toy machine! There are places set up where you can take your own pictures. This year is different, so just know that ahead of time.
I would encourage you to have your child write their letter to Santa at home and mail it in the mailbox, or mail a letter if you brought it. This session is more a photo session and not the kind like at the mall where you read your letter and show it to him, because Jeff is trying to get those magical shots! They have individually wrapped crayons for your child to take to write a letter.
When it is your turn, you turn your buzzer in and go the photo set he has set up for the year. He changes it each year.
Your child will go to Santa, hopefully, and Jeff will zoom around in his rolling chair getting his shots. My son was 9yrs so he even had him give a sad, sily etc.
Santa will listen to what they want. Santa was sweet and even came up after to let me know what he wanted., without my son knowing.
Then we went to the table where Jeff ordered more than 29,000 cookies for the kids to decorate. We enjoyed some hot chocolate too while eating the cookies. He also has a water station for you to get water to drink if you need to. Don't forget the free mimosas too! This year he gives you cookies to go.
If you want to take your child to a magical place for those holiday pictures, this is it.
