Ponce City Market

Ponce City Market is located in the historic Sears, Roebuck and CO building at 675 Ponce De Leon Ave, NE Atlanta, GA 30308. It reminded me a lot of Chelsea Market in New York City with the High Line attached. Ponce has the Atlanta Belt Line attached to it.

These pictures were taken pre-covid so some places may no longer be there.

When you first arrive there is a garage or outdoor parking. Make sure to download the ParkMobile, LLC - USA (Parkmobile app) before you leave for ease when you get there. Make sure your car info is already in the app too to save time. Put in the zone 222 to park and pick how long you want to park. You can add time as needed. There are parking machines you can pay at too right near the entrance, but if you have the app ready to go it is so easy. Parking is $1 for 30 mins and $1 for each additional half hour. 4-8 hours is $10 and 8-24 is $15. ( this was the price last time we went)

Now it is time to go in and shop or go to the food hall or the rooftop. There is so much fun waiting!

The shops are all around. You can just wander or look at a map to see where you want to shop.

The Food Hall has many different unique places to eat. Be sure to wonder around and look at it all before you decide. They also have a machine to buy gift cards here and pay for parking and restrooms are in this area. Most places took cash and cards.

Walk on the main level to under where it says Belt Line. You will see a little shop. Go in here to buy tickets to The Roof and you will get bands. For those drinking they have 21 and over bands. It is $10 an adult and $7 a child (kids under 3 free) to go up the 1 min 30 freight elevator. Once you reach the top you walk out to a carnival like rooftop with amazing views of the city! There are games, slide Height requirement for the slide is 44'', mini golf, Heege Tower (height requirement 44''), beer garden, concessions and a place to hold a prate event like a wedding.

Most games are $1 to $3 and you get charged $1 for the card. My son and I shared a card to save a $1. Online the hours for the Roof say Monday-Fri 3pm-11pm and Sat 11am-11pm and Sunday 12pm -10pm. Fridays and Saturday it is 21 plus after 5 pm!!

We had a lot of fun up here and he cant wait to go back. Next time I think we will walk a little of the belt line too!

I think this would be a fun family outing or go back and have a fun date night! They also have food tours here which I think would be fun too.

Make sure to check back each Friday and Saturday when I post another Family Fun place around the ATL. Check us out on Facebook or Instagram
