My good friends has a condo here and I have gone about 15 times. Here is some info from those trips so some info may have changed since.
You can rent a house here or stay in a hotel. Sea Pines is a great area to rent a house. It is a huge gated area with a beach and golf course.

Rain Nights – if Tuesday night fireworks are cancelled, we will make every attempt to shoot the show the next day. (i.e. Wednesdays following the scheduled Tuesday show) **Weather permitting**.

If you go to the beach make sure you shuffle your feet in the water. It will alert sting ray if you are near them so they won’t sting you.
