Gingerupdesigns has gone through several transformations since its creation in 2014.
Initially dedicated as a web-based information source on all things sustainable, her approach quickly changed to sustainable wares that were stylish and fashionable!
She designed, sewed and riveted purses and handbags for years before changing my focus to earrings and home décor (two of my passions ). Several constants throughout this process have been a dedication to using sustainable and upcycled materials (leather, acrylic, sail cloth, denim and more) procured from the community, products designed and made in house and the frequent visits to her workspace from her biggest fans: her son Lucas and daughter Olivia.
As GingerUp Designs continues to grow, she is finding joy in partnering with fellow local entrepreneurs and giving back to my community wherever possible.
Currently, she is creating Hearts for Ukraine earrings. 50% of each sale goes directly to Novaukraine.org which provides humanitarian aid to Ukraine today.
