I had read a lot of people went to here for pumpkins so we went to check it out. We had been here years ago to pick blueberries when my son was young.
I had read ahead that it was hard to drive get in and out of. They had commented they had fixed the problem. We went on a Sunday afternoon years ago, so probably a high traffic time, but found we had to wait to pull in and there was even an officer there to help. We parked. I saw no marked handicap parking and it would have been hard to have my mom walk far from where we parked. (Hoping this has changed since we went)
It was $4 cash to park at that time.
It is stroller friendly, but you must leave the stroller for the hay ride and you have to use a step stool to get into the hay ride. They have an area to leave your strollers at.
The hay ride was fun and we first stopped at where you can ride a pony for $5. They also has a cute mini pumpkin patch here where they had those little pumpkins in the patch for kids to find to purchase. Then people can get on from the pony ride or you stay on and go to the pumpkin patch.
They have tons of pumpkins here. The only negative thing is you now have to carry your pumpkin to stand in line to get back on the hay ride ( or you can walk back). We took the hayride back.
We then stood in line to pay for it and again had to carry the big pumpkin to the car far away and there was no place to really drive up to get it and no wagons when we went. I saw a few put the pumpkins in the strollers and make the kids walk.
They had a few treats to buy to eat and yummy home made apple cider but watch for the bees.
Be patient when you leave as it took 20 mins to exit due to traffic coming in and out.
This is just my opinion based on visting 2 different years and everyone can expereince a different visit. It is a cute place to go but I will say keep in mind the parking issue far away, the traffic getting in and out and then having to carry your pumpkin far. I am sure if you go at an off time its great. I was glad my son was older and could help with the pumpkin and was patient in the cars and lines.
