Amelia Island, named after King George II daughter, is the only Island that was ruled by 8 Countries: Mexico, Spain, France, The Confederate States of America, Patriots of Amelia Island The Green Cross, Great Britain and The United States. It is 13 miles of sand, sun and sweet memories!



It is also home to Florida's oldest saloon, The Palace Saloon.
